Recent Travels

This trip was all about prioritizing family. I started and ended in Florida seeing my parents and in between saw almost all of my Aunts and Uncles, most of my cousins, met some extended family, explored new parts of the country, and even saw some friends along the way. 

It pays to know people who have amazing vacation houses on beautiful islands! I spent five days unwinding in a gorgeous villa with a rooftop pool doing mostly nothing but relaxing and swimming and it was glorious!!!

The bucket list trip to end all bucket list trips! I saved for years for this trip that was 20 years in the making and spent the dreamiest of summers in Italy exploring the whole country. I cried when I left Venice and missed out on Milan due to Covid, but boy oh boy was this the most incredible summer of my life to date. 

You can read all about this trip in my first 8 blogs, but I loved this trip so much! 13 National Parks, numerous monuments, car camping, a pandemic... I learned so much and loved every minute. Even when I was terrified and almost sliding off a mud mountain in Montana :) 

I got to tag along on this trip with my friend, Monica. We made it a device free vacation which was amazing and it was also my first ever all inclusive resort! Both of which I highly recommend! 

This was my first ever solo trip and the highest on my bucket list. The sacrifices I made to make it possible were many and were the best decisions I've ever made. The joy felt in this picture is some of the deepest, purest joy I've ever felt in my life.
